For us Japanese, the Cherry Blossom (Sakura) is more than just a flower; it is a deeply significant presence that resides in our hearts. It is the ultimate symbol of spring, embodying "transience," "beauty," and the ever-shifting nature of life.
In Japan, many poetic expressions have been born to cherish these fleeting moments—such as "Sakura-fubuki," the ethereal blizzard of petals dancing on a soft spring breeze, or "Nagori-oshisa," the profound sense of reluctance to say goodbye as the blossoms fade away.
Driven by a desire to capture and preserve this delicate beauty that vanishes in an instant, I breathe life into a single sheet of paper to create these eternal blossoms.
